Are you looking for the path to commercialise your innovative healthcare solution? The Reactor Bootcamp will provide a customised path so you can find your product-market fit, accelerate early adoption and get prepared for partnership building.

You’ll get expert guidance on customer awareness, developing the customer journey, industry compliance, and go-to-market strategy. You’ll get extensive training towards commercialising your product or service through four intensive remote sprints paired with tailored mentorship.

Become part of an international network and gain invaluable connections to a pan-European community of healthtech innovators. Reactor’s trainers and mentors include seasoned entrepreneurs from the healthcare industry, compliance experts, investors, and decision-makers from GE Healthcare.

How it works

Get your application started

1 of 4

Apply using the EIT Health application portal, create a log-in and start your application. Include a clear and concise description of your team and product, your goals, and your unique selling proposition.






Get your invitation

2 of 4

The top 25 start-ups will be invited to Selection Day, for a workshop and interviews with mentors. The top 15 start-ups will receive invitations to join on 1 April.







Ready, set, sprint!

3 of 4

You’ll go through four intensive remote week-long sprints. In Sprint #1, 11-14 April, you will build your healthcare innovation team. In Sprint #2, 2-6 May you will look at financing and fundraising to bring your project to life. In Sprint #3, 23-27 May, you'll dive into communicating and selling your product. Finally, in Sprint #4, 13-17 June, you’ll join trainings and workshops about scaling-up. The closing days: 16 and 17 of June will be events in Budapest, Hungary.

Demo Day and Gala

4 of 4

HVL welcomes you in Budapest, and gives you the opportunity to meet with HVL and its partners and your peers in person through workshops and other activities. On 17 June, you’ll attend an invitation-only GALA EVENT with investors, industry partners, and innovation ecosystem allies.





Who should apply?

To apply for this programme your healthcare start-up must:

  • Be incorporated and registered in a Horizon Europe country
  • Be innovating in the field of life sciences or healthcare
  • Have a working unique value proposition
  • Be in the early-growth stage
  • Be focused on finding product-market fit and on scaling up

60% of the selected start-ups will be chosen from these areas:

  • Medical institution workflow and process optimization
  • Medical imaging and diagnostics

Thanks to the EIT-EIC Collaboration if your start-up has been previously supported by the EIC you can receive special benefits. Make sure to input your PIC number in the application form.
